michal macku body pictures

michal macku uses a self invented technique called "gellage" to create strange morphed body images.

"The technique consists of transfer the exposed and fixed photographic emulsion from its original base on paper. This transparent and plastic gelatin substance makes it possible to reshape and reform the original images, changing their relationships and endowing them with new meanings during the transfer" link

hasn't he heard of photoshop? although i guess everyone has a computer with photoshop now, "gellage" is maybe a bit more unique.

the first image by michal macku reminds me of some simple body drawings i did a while back. i tried looking for them, but only found one:

michal macku must have seen my drawing somehow and copied me. maybe he hacked my brain in search for inspiration. it happens aaaaall the timeee. i better start wearing a tin foil helmet to stop the psychic theft of ideas.

some lady-person i drew in my sketchbook before going to bed last night. i like big hair and big dresses. it's a pencil drawing.

more fishy dreams by yuji moriguchi

yuji moriguchi was the artist i was going to blog about yesterday before i got sidetracked with art (tentacle) history.

i was visiting my friends ben and kat once, when ben had just been given giant african land snails by kat. i started giggling when i saw the snails. there was quite a few people there, and i assumed everyone in the room thought the same as me. i thought i'd break the silence by putting into words what everyone had on their mind; "i wonder if many girls uses giant african land snails as sex toys?"

everyone looked at me a bit funny, and i looked at them a bit funny; i can't believe they didn't think of that? not that i'm into snails, but i can see the potential.

ben and kat, this is for you:

the dream of the fisherman's wife

i was going to post some contemporary erotic tentacle art, but thought i had to post this first, as first things must come(..) first.

i bet a lot of you have already seen this - after all, it's not a new work of art. it was made around 1820 by the japanese artist katsushika hokusai - see even back then, all the cool stuff came from japan. it is possibly the first instance of tentacle porn, and it started a trend - the theme has been reworked by artists ever since.

see my post "octopussy by rune olsen" for a recent take on this theme.

fantasy art by keith thompson

i have a soft spot for fantasy artists like keith thompson, it's like he's a modern day fairy tale illustrator. nowadays, fairy tales are mostly for kids, but it wasn't always like that, and it doesn't have to be that way. fantasy art and illustration has this stigma about it; as if it isn't real, serious, high art, but the domain of nerds. as we all know, being a nerd is being intelligent, dedicated and good at something - like keith thompson - i don't understand how that can be a stigma.

you might want to click on some of the more intricate pictures to get all the details, as the pictures are massive, but blogger resizes them to the point where some of the amazingness is lost.

for more of keith thompson's work, check out his website: www.keiththompsonart.com

wikipedia has a section about fantasy art where they also mention the silly division between fantasy art and high culture: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fantasy_art

kazuv's drawings of pregnant girls

i sometimes like to look through deviantart, as there's so much cool and strange art there.

i never really remember much of what i see though, it's all new to me, even if i've seen it before. except this one guy called kazuv who makes stuff that keeps coming up in my deviantart searches again and again. i guess it's because of our common interest in aliens. beyond that, we don't have much in common. that is why i remember his work; i just find it SO WONDERFULLY WEIRD!!

he's done a gigantic amount of drawings, and they're all of the same; pregnant girls!

i suspect it is a sexual thing. i think that sort of dedication can only be driven by sexual fixations, but i might be wrong.

i've heard of men before who has pregnancy fetishes, and somehow it should be one of the most normal fetishes to have as pregnancy has everything to do with sex. after all, it is the result of sex, and the intention of sex. i've just never personally intended to get pregnant, so for me, pregnancy is just some seperate weird thing that some people choose to do. it's like i forget pregnancy even has something to do with sex - and more importantly, that sex has something to do with pregnancy.

this one is titled "anything you want for $ 20":
oh and that reminds me i must must get a leopard print dress/jacket/whatever, it's so wonderfully trashy!

this one is titled "sane girls are overrated". haha i totally agree.

i asked kazuv if he could draw me as one of his pregnant characters, but he never returned my email. what a shame. i could draw it myself but it wouldn't be as fun.

check out kazuv's deviantart profile for more pregnant babes.
